Our Objective
Customers don’t buy what they don’t understand.
So we’ll help them understand.
We’re excited to partner with New View Gifts & Accessories in producing instructional videos for the Blue Moon Studio UV Resin line of products.
Here are some key benefits to producing and using these videos.
- Increase sales by showing customers how easy it is to use the products.
- Increase sales by inspiring customers with examples of what they can make with the products.
- Reduce customer service requests by producing high quality instructional videos that are easy to understand.
- Position Blue Moon Studios as your customer’s go-to brand for all their jewelry making needs.
The Pitch
You have 5 products that will be launching in 900 Walmart stores. A customer can scan a QR code on the product packaging to watch a 2 to 3 minute video on how to use your product. These videos need to be effective and look professional.
This is how we’ll help.
In order to engage the viewer in the first 3 seconds of the video, we’ll start with beauty shots of the finished piece.
We’ll then go into a step by step guide showing how to create the piece.
Two cameras will be used. The first will be in a top-down position to show context. The second will be equipped with a macro lens to show fine details.
We’ll end with a beauty shot of the complete piece again along with a number of other examples to inspire the viewer.
There will be 5 final deliverables; a single two to three minute video for each of the 5 products.
Below are a few examples of instructional videos we’ve done for clients.
The Investment
The investment for this project is $5,355
With the goal of transparency, we’ve broken down this investment into three itemized categories: Pre Production, Production, and Post Production. We’ve found that this really helps our clients see the value they’re getting when they work with us. Hourly work is based on an $85/hour rate and day rates are based on crew, talent, and rental rates.
Simple Terms For Projects below $10k
At the start of a project, we’ll invoice for 75% of the estimated investment. This will cover most our production costs and allow us to fully focus on creating and delivering your videos. Once the final files are delivered we will invoice for the remaining 25%. The final invoice may be reduced due to estimated hours not used. If additional work not covered by the scope of service is requested, the cost for such additional work will be discussed and agreed upon with the client before such work will begin. The cost of this additional work will be added to the final invoice.
Pre production can save a lot of time and money. The goal of pre production is to plan out the shoot days in detail and do quality control on the initial creative. When pre production is done right, production days are spent smoothly executing the plans already developed.
Itemized Pre Production Costs:- Concept development with client: 4 hours
- Source set materials & plan set: 2 hours
- Plan and schedule production day: 4 hours
Production is where we produce all of our visual assets for the videos. We follow the scripts and action plans that were developed in pre production to make production run smoothly and efficiently.
Itemized Production Day Costs:- Studio rental: 400
- Camera rental: 300
- Lighting rental: 150
- 2 member crew : 1360
Post Production is where we take all the footage we shoot during production and edit together the final deliverables. If pre production and production were done right, post production goes very smoothly.
Itemized Post Production Costs:- Ingest all footage: 2 hours
- Edit a rough version of the videos: 8 hours
- Source and edit in music: 4 hours
- Add graphics & logos: 6 hours
- Color grade footage: 1 hours
- Render & upload for review: 1 hour
- Revisions: 4 hours
- Render and upload final deliverable: 1 hour
