Our Objective
Customers don’t buy what they don’t understand.
So we’ll help them understand.
The easiest way to help customers gain an understanding that leads to a purchase is through clearly communicating how the product makes their lives better. The most engaging way to package this message is through a strategic video.
We’re excited to partner with Association Reserves in producing a strategic introduction video for their Reserve Study product.
Here are some key benefits to producing and using this video.
- Easily engage virtual trade show attendees and draw them into the booth.
- Help customers understand the incredible value of a Reserve Study.
- Build trust in the Association Reserves brand.
- Leverage the reputation of Association Reserves founder, Robert Nordlund.
- Be repurposed in many ways for social media posts, advertisements, other events, email blasts, etc.
The Pitch
In order to engage the audience in the first 3 seconds of the video, we’ll have Robert come right out with a problem that many of the viewers can relate to.
Robert will then position Association Reserves and your Reserve Study as the guide to fix common problems associations have. We want to communicate that the Reserve Study is easy to acquire, valuable to have, and simple to follow. It really should be a serious consideration for any one who cares about their community, their bank account, and their peace of mind.
We’ll end with a variety of calls to action depending on where the video will be used.
There will be 12 final deliverables, each introducing a regional president.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
[VISUALS: We see Robert standing in the middle of frame addressing the viewer.]
Robert:
“When disaster strikes, poor financial planning can cost you and your community members thousands of dollars in special assessments, and even worse, decrease the value of your property.”
“Nobody wants that!”
Robert:
“Think of it as your community’s playbook to a worry-free financial future.”
[VISUALS: We cut to a slideshow of photos that illustrate the inspection of property and looking over the financials as Roberts voice continues.]
Robert:
“First, we document every aspect of your property and gauge the health of your current reserve fund.”
[VISUALS: We cut to an animated view of the sample Reserve Study deliverable.]
Robert:
“Then we deliver an accurate and easy to follow maintenance and funding plan.”
“Following this plan will keep your community safe and your reserves fully funded, for the next 30 years.”
[VISUALS: Cut back to Robert]
Robert:
“Over the past 3 decades we’ve helped tens of thousands of communities just like yours regain control over all kinds of unwanted surprises.”
“We’re excited that you’re here because it shows that you care about your community.”
“Come on in, make yourself at home and ask us any questions you have.”
“Association Reserves is here to help.”
The Investment
The investment for this project is $4,855
With the goal of transparency, we’ve broken down this investment into three itemized categories: Pre Production, Production, and Post Production. We’ve found that this really helps our clients see the value they’re getting when they work with us. Hourly work is based on an $85/hour rate and day rates are based on crew, talent, and rental rates.
Simple Terms For Projects below $5k
We like to keep things simple. At the start of a project, we’ll invoice for 100% of the estimated investment. This will cover our production costs and allow us to fully focus on creating and delivering your videos.
Pre production, when done right, saves a lot of time and money. The goal of pre production is to plan out the shoot days in detail and do quality control on the initial creative. This is done through proper planning and the production of an animatic. An animatic is a rough version of the video made with line art and scratch voice over. This helps us gauge the content and pacing of the script before anything is filmed. It's much easier to make script changes on the animatic than it is to make script changes in post production. If pre production is done right, then production days are spent smoothly executing the plans already developed.
Itemized Pre Production Costs:- Script research & Writing: 8 hours
- Communication: 2 hours
- Source set materials & props: 2 hours
- Schedule production: 2 hours
Production is where we produce all of our visual assets for the videos. We follow the scripts and action plans that were developed in pre production to make production run smoothly and efficiently.
Itemized Production Day Costs:- Studio rental: 400
- Director day rate: 850
- Camera op day rate: 500
- Camera rental: 200
- Lighting rental: 100
Post Production is where we take all the footage we shoot during production and edit together the final deliverable. If pre production and production were done right, post production goes very smoothly.
Itemized Post Production Costs:- Ingest all footage: 1 hours
- Edit a rough version of the videos: 8 hours
- Source and edit in music: 2 hours
- Add graphics & logos: 2 hours
- Render & upload for review: 1 hour
- Revisions: 4 hours
- Render and upload final deliverable: 1 hour
